Christ College, Postgraduate Department of Economics will be organising Intercollegiate Debate Competition on "Special Economic Zones -Boon or Bane" on Tuesday, September 11, 2007.
Chief Guest: Dr. Abdul Aziz (Ex-Director, ISEC, Bangalore).
Venue: Conference Hall, II nd Block, 3rd Floor, Christ College, Bangalore-560029. Time: 10 a.m. onwards.
Schedule
10 a.m.- Inauguration.
10:15 a.m.- Debate Competition Begins.
1 p.m.- Valedictory Speech by Chief Guest.
1:30 p.m.- Prize Distribution.
Rules and Regulations
A team consisting of two members from each college (1 for and 1 against).
Time alloted for each speaker is 6 (5+1) minutes.
The presentations would be followed by questions.
If the time taken exceeds the limit, it would lead to negative marking.
All the teams have to be present at the Conference Hall by 9:45 a.m. with their college identity card.
Last date for enrollment is September 8, 2007.
