Dear Debaters and Adjudicators,
We are making the final calls for registration for the Singapore
Debate Open 2007.
At the end of this week, we will be starting work on logistical
preparations and this will require us to have a definitive number of
team and adjudicator names.
If you are planning to attend the Opens as an adjudicator or debater,
please send me notice immediately on the number of teams and
adjudicators your institution wishes to send down.
If your wish to attend as a non-affiliated / independent team /
adjudicator, do send me notice of this as well.
Spectators are welcome to attend the event, but will be charged the
registration fee of SGD20 per person.
A quick summary of the tournament details are as follows:
- Dates: 22nd and 23rd September 2007
- Venue: National University of Singapore Faculty of Law
- Time: 8am to 6pm on both days
- Format: British Parliamentary
- N-1 adjudicator rule for institutions
- Registration Fees: $20 per person (whether debater, adjudicator or
spectator)
- No accommodation provided
