Chair Wathee Debate Contest Thailand 2007














Dear all,

Waree Chiang Mai School won the second runner up prize for Chair Wathee debate contest at the mobile event held on stage recently at Kad Suan Kaew Hotel and Shopping Complex.

The group, learning the Thai language and contents of the Waree Chiang Mai School, participated in the debate competition on the topic “1000 million or 1000 which one is enough?” and also the topic on “sufficient economic philosophy is as a guideline for every one” at the event.

The school winning team consisted of Ratcharin Singkharaj, a Mattayom 6 student, Namphufah Petchkaew, and Ms Cholticha Petcharanasangkul, the Mattayom 5 students who were all advised by Master Pongsakorn Sommitre, the head of the group representing the school for the debate contest.

Meanwhile, students of the English and Bilingual Program of Waree Chiang Mai School were entertained by the visiting Up with People during their visit to Chiang Mai. School representatives performed by singing and dancing which impressed the guests from the international music group.
